Pokemon GTS Sadness

This is a story of mishap and sadness caused by the GTS in Pokemon.
Last night I deposited my Poliwhirl with King's Rock attached to him so then he would evolve into Politoed once traded.  I had asked for a Poliwhirl in return with a message stating King's Rock.
Did I get a Poliwhirl with King's Rock attached in return so I could get a Politoed?  No.  I did not.  I just got a plain Poliwhirl from South Korea with absolutely nothing attached to it.
I tried many many times to contact the trainer to trade with her so I could get what I wanted.  But time and time again she ignored my request.  I tried again this morning, but to no avail she did not answer me.

Now I am wondering if anyone can help me.

Reminiscing: Donkey Kong Country

While playing the new Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze I began to feel like this is exactly what Donkey Kong is (granted that I really did like Donkey Kong 64).  So I began to think of the past again from when I used to play the original Donkey Kong Country.
I remember how awesome of a game this was.  Back then the graphics were so awesome.  When weather would change from a bright sunny day so a snow storm was unbelievable.  Also there is nothing like the music that was in this game.  The soundtrack was just amazing, you can't really beat that (even the remixes don't do justice).
Once again when this came out I was very young, only seven years old.  Unlike Mario Bros. (when I was only two), my gaming skills have increased quite a bit here.  I was able to jump and run around like a boss (none of "the game is cheating" here).  Every now and then there would be secret rooms that would turn up and you had to collect banana's in there, of course after collecting the banana's I accidentally fall down and am unable to collect the prize (which has actually happened while play Tropical Freeze a couple of times).
For some reason, even though I have a fond memory of the game, I don't remember much of it.  I do know that I was able to defeat the final boss, lots of barrel jumping there.
Playing with my brothers was always the best too.  Except I would always get ahead and cause problems.  I miss those days.
It's awesome that they brought those memories back with this new game.  I am very appreciative of it.  Also in my opinion I think Tropical Freeze is more difficult, but easy to get lives.

Reminiscing: Super Mario Bros

This morning I was remembering the good ole days and this led me to thinking, "why don't I talk about the days when I was a kid and the games I used to play".
The very first game that I remember ever playing was Super Mario Bros for the NES.  Now this game was released a couple of years before my birth, but that does not mean anything really.  What I remember was that this game was part of a trio of games.  It had Track and Field and Duck Hunt on the same cartridge, both good games.
From what I have heard, my remembering and what I actually did were two totally different things.  You see I always thought I was awesome at this game, but how good could a year old (or two) really be at games.  The only thing that I remember was each time I died, whether it be from falling, or from running into a goomba (because I didn't jump) I would always say that the game was cheating.  Don't ask where I learned that vocabulary at that age, I just always though the game was cheating.
Now that I think about it I don't think I ever made it passed the first level until I was older.  Then I got Super Mario Deluxe for the Gameboy Color and finally beat the game.  Still to this day if things don't go my way in some of the games that I play I think that they are cheating.  Who is they?  I have not clue, just that they are cheating.

Rock Band, The Prefect Revenge.

I was thinking of this game the other day.  What was it that made me think of it?  Well let me first explain the situation.
So I live in an apartment, and I live on the top floor.  Now you would think it would be nice and quiet here on the top floor.  That was before the new neighbors downstairs moved in.  Around noon I start to feel the floor rumble, and also around 10 p.m..  So instead of doing the right thing and calling management, since I talked to them twice already about him, we take things in our own hands.  He also plays instruments randomly throughout the day and has people over that slams the doors.
Now that you know kind of what my neighbor is, I will share with you my thought.  Now ever since moving here I have not played the drums for Rock Band (since the neighbors back then would somehow knock on the ceiling for me to stop, and we have found out that this person is related by marriage).  So I was thinking that when I start hearing, or feeling, stuff from below that I would take out my Rock Band, finally set up the drums and just wail away on them.
This would hopefully get the message across, if not I would probably start playing it randomly in the day and hope to wake him from his slumber like he has done to us many times before.

Problems With Splinter Cell

Now I know it has been a weekend, but Ubisoft has not responded to my email about the sound not playing correctly for the TV option, even though it plays fine on the gamepad.  I don't know what it is about Ubisoft, but the two thing that I have right now from them are screwed up.
This game is one of them.  I was really wanting to enjoy this game, but it is not when I can only play it on the gamepad.  Everything looks great and plays just fine, and actually seems easier to control.  I would just like to be able to sit on my couch and look at the big TV while playing this game to enjoy it.

The next thing is this POS.  When I first started this program up on my Wii U I signed in with my credentials and it worked just fine.  Then one day a while ago there was an update to the program.  Now for some reason I am logged in with someone else's account.  I emailed them various times, even gave them more info than what I just said here, and they said that they need more info in order to help me out.  How can I give more if that is all?

I don't understand.  Rayman Legends works awesomely.  I only had one hiccup on one of the Murphy levels towards the end of the game (the lava lake one where the computer always wants to get hit by a stream of lava).

So here's to hoping that there is some way to fix these issues.  If not then here's to hoping they will send me a replacement for Splinter Cell.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist Wii U

Well what can I say.  I do love the game, but it is unplayable on my TV.  The reason being is because Sam hardly outputs any sound.  When I play on the Gamepad I can hear him just fine.  I don't know if there is a fix for this, or if I just have a bad game, but it just sucks.
Other than that this is a great game.  I just go around try to be all sneaky like and work my way through the levels.  Doing it this way takes a long time to complete a level.  Of course I have yet to do a perfect run through, which my guess is to not alert anyone and to take down as few opponents as possible.
I love that they brought back being able to move bodies so the other bad people wont find them and know that something is up.  Only thing is when it does the AAR it never shows that I have hidden a body.  So I am not quite sure what to do there.
The game looks really great.  The only thing to complain about is the load times that it takes to play.  Even the base of operations take forever to load, and that is just a plane.  It's nothing really, because once you are in the game it is endless.
Now after not playing shooting games for a while it took me a little while to get used to the controls, I still feel as though I have some work to do to make things perfect.  For instance today when I was playing I wanted to jump up onto a pipe on the ceiling, instead I opened a door and got shot.  That became very annoying when it happened more than once.
I am not that far into the game at this point, and I really wish I could play it on my TV.  I also whish I had friends that had the game so I could play some coop.

What A Twist: A Link Between Worlds.

I had this strange feeling when I entered the final chamber to take on the final boss.  What was this odd feeling that I was having in my gut, something did not seem right whatsoever about this situation.
(Don't read on unless you have either played the game, or just wish to know the end).

After taking down the numerous challenges of Lorule Castle.  A little while in I began to think "Why would Hilda have so many disastrous things in her castle when I am supposed to get to her to help her out?"  Then it came to me.  She has some sort of part in what is all going on.
When I got to her, my hunch was correct.  It was her that devised the plan for Yuga to go to Hyrule and do everything that he did, so they could get the Triforce.  Yuga unfortunately to both of us had a different plan.  After taking him down the first time Hilda was wanting his power to take me out.  He didn't want any of that, instead he absorbed her power.  (I had a hard enough time taking him out the first time, now he has more power).  He actually became easier after this.
Once defeated Rovio shows up to put a stop to everything and to remind Hilda of why the Triforce was originally destroyed (that put a stop to her madness).  And what do you know Rovio looks an awful lot like Link.
We all apologize to each other and return to out own world.  After making a wish on the Triforce of Hyrule, Lorule got their Triforce back and can now start to restore their world.

After beating the game I am quite well pleased.  Only thing was the side missions were either to easy to beat, or there were not enough of them (except for the running one).

Final Showdown: A Link Between Worlds

So I am to that part of the game now where I will be heading to the final dungeon in the game.  I was trying to go for 100% before I got there.  I found of of the Maiamai, but I was unable to get all of the heart pieces (not able to find four).  I got all of my weapons upgraded and found the Hylian Shield.  I believe I have all of the items, even though there are still three free spots in my inventory.
Now I am standing inside the entrance of Lorule castle waiting to take it on.  I will be finishing this another day though, especially if I find out how to get those last four heart pieces (even though I probably don't need them).
