Running around in Coumarine City

First up was my battle with Serena since I did not remember which way the monorail was.   She was really wanted me to show her Mega Evolution.  First up is Meowstic, since she asked for it I send out Blaziken and Mega Evolved.  Then I used Peck and Cut.  Next up was Absol, I used Double Kick, and I only needed a single kick.  Last up was Quilladin where I may have over done it with Blaze Kick.  After I kicked her butt she said she did not understand why I was so much stronger than her.

Now to travel the town.  I went back to very beginning and found out you can't even go down the docks, that is balderdash.  In the house above the stands there was a very harsh lady and to make up for it the guy gives me a Silk Scarf.  This is interesting, just south of this house is an Incense stand, no clue what is good and it costs so much, so I did not buy anything.

A little further down the dock is a fisher who has more Good Rods than who could ever use, so he give me one; how nice.  To much avail I was not able to fish off of the dock here, I shall try fishing later to catch some goo Pokemon.  It seems like something must be going on at the Kalos Power Plant since it seems like a lot of people are talking about it.  In the hotel there is a girl that said I am a very kind trainer and gave me a Luck Egg.  Nice it gives a Pokemon more EXP. Points if I have them hold onto it.  Out to the left of the hotel there is a TM Quiz."If the user is not holding an item, this attack inflicts massive damage." I have no clue what this is, so I just kept guessing.  Turns out Acrobatics was the answer (didn't have to worry about getting it wrong), and then she gives me the move.

No back to the other side of monorail ride.  In the station a guy gave me Metronome, very nice.  It is an odd in the Pokecenter, the O-Power man was just standing facing the corner.  He gave me the Befriending Power.  Finally a Pokemart that sells Quick, Timer and Repeat Balls, also Ultra Balls at the other counter.

South of the Pokecenter there are two houses, the one on the right has a little game.  If you can correctly guess the noise she is making of one of you Pokemon she gives you Poke Toy.  Luckily for me she did Pikachu, so that was kind of easy.  To the right of the Gym there is an item ball with Sky Plate in it.  Now I shall go challenge the Gym Leader, since it looks like there is nothing else to do.

Upon entering the gym I switched my first two Pokemon to be Talonflame and Blaziken, since this surely looks like it possibly could be a grass Pokemon Gym.  The first person I ran into after going right was Pokemon Ranger Chaise with a Simisage.  I used Flame Charge his HP did not drop, it plummeted.  A few flights up and to the right we have Pokemon Ranger Maurice with; Ferroseed first, then Lombre, and last Carnivine.  On all three I used Flame Charge to take them out.  Then i went all the way to the left, slid down and went left again to run into Pokemon Ranger Brooke with his Roselia and Wormadam.  Of course I used Flame Charge to take both of them out.  Onto the last guy before the Gym Leader.  I had to climb another vine (getting tired just from watching) and went left, and up again then I went right to finally get to the Gym Leader.

The big battle against Gym Leader Ramos.  First up was Jumpluff so I used Flame Charge and then he sent out Gogoat.  I first used Flame Charged and was surprised that it did not take him out.  He was almost out so I readied the move Peck, but Ramos decided it was a good idea to use Hyper Potion, dang.  So then I went and used Flame Charge again and I then used Peck to take him out.  Last up was Weepinbell.  Since I was curious how Fly would work I thought I would try it out.  It took him out like crazyness.  Yay I got the Plant Badge, now I can fly when ever and where ever.  I also got move Grass Knot

Join me next time as I exit the city to the south and head onto Route 13.  What will be down there, it sound like the Power Plant could be coming close.  Maybe I will figure out what is wrong and be able to fix it.
