Traveling to Cyllage City

After leaving the aquarium the first thing that I did was went all the way south.  There I found an item ball containing a Pearl.  I then used Rock Smash on the rock there and got into a fight with a wild Binacle.  I weakened him down to the red and it still took me five Great Balls to catch it.  Then I decided to put this Old Rod to use and go fishing.  All along the coast it looks like there was only Luvdisc's popping up at me.  So I decided to cant a few.
With one of my extra ones I decided to try out this Wonder Trade.  The first one was a Luvdisc again, but in Japanese, the second time was a Japenese Flabebe and the third time was a Japanese Gibble.  I was trying to figure out how to revert the name into English, and after some reading it seems that you have to bread it in order to have an English one.  Since it seems like this Pokemon can be found on Route 13 (from description of Pokemon) I may be able to catch the English one and then Wonder Trade this one out.
It amazes me that someone can roller skates on beach sand as easily as I can in Pokemon, they should invent those things in real life, "All Terrain Roller Skates".  I walked a little further up the beach, got a berry and then received a Dowsing Machine.  Yay I get to walk the whole beach again to find items.  I found a; Stardust, Heart Scale, Ultra Ball, Rare Candy and a Pearl.  Then I noticed that there were more rocks to smash so I smashed them and ran into a Dwebble, damaged it to about half, threw a Great Ball and click, it didn't even struggle.
Walking along there coast some more I ran into some trainers.  First up was a Female Swimmer Genevieve (why they need to state that she is a female is beyond me, if it wasn't obvious), she first sent out a Wingull and me and confused my Wartortle, and confusion really takes a lot out of you, I had to use two Super Portions before I took this one out.  Next she sent a Psyduck out at me and I had my Pikachu then and that was a much shorter battle.  Then we have Fisherman Wharton with three Tentacool's, so I just Thundershocked them all.  Next is Fisherman Shad, his Pokemon were Shellder, and Staryu.  The last one that I ran into was Female Swimmer Marissa, she had a Masquerain.

I finally arrive in Cyllage City.  Her I got a Sachet, traded another one of my Luvdisc for a Steelix called Thumper, got a bicycle for answering "Do bicycle come in more that one color?" Ha yeah.  Got a new O-Power in the Hotel and ate at the restaurant at the cheap location.  Then I moved onto the Gym.
I guess since this Gym is built into the mountain side should be a clear hint that it is full of rock type Pokemon.  First off I went around back, sat down and had this nice view of the Water fall.  First battle was against Rising Star Didier, he had a Dwebble, and a Relicanth (I was playing this last night and that move Yawn made me yawn each time it was used). Next up was Hiker Craig, with Roggenrola. Then Rising Star with Manon, Solrock, and Lunatone.  Last before the leader was Hiker Bernard he thought he could take me out with Rhyhorn, Nosepass, and Onix.  Finally we get to Gym Leader Grant, not fair he has both of the Fossil Pokemon Amaura, and Tryrunt.  So I battle him, to out my Combusken who was at lvl 33. Dang Combusken wont listen to me, finally after getting his butt beat he used the move Double Kick and took out Tyrunt.  Yay I won.

So I woke up this morning and ent fishing one more time before moving on and saw that all I was getting was just Luvdisc again. Then I ran around with the dowsing rod some more and used Rock Smash.  Nothing new happened there.  I then taught Strength to Linoone and headed into the cave.  There I got Aerial Ace and Frustration.  Got into a battle with Pokemon Breeder Mercy with her Ducklett, Pikachu, Litleo, and Oddish.  The first time I ran into Whismur it fainted with one hit, so I decided to put Pikachu as my starter, since it has the lost attack points.  cave exits out the Route 7 so I went back in, used strength to connect the two paths and ran into a Zubat that did not struggle to be caught, and another Whismur and this time I caught it.

If you look at my second picture you will see a guy standing in the foreground.  Since I did not remember battling him I figured I would head south again in the mountains to find him.  While running in the grass I ran into a Seviper and caught it.  Then I found Black Belt Cadoc, and battled him.  I took out his Machop and moved on.  Strange another person that I don't recall seeing on a ledge way down.  How do I get to this one?  I figured it out.  I walked right along the mountain base and eventually she noticed me and challenge me.  So I accepted Sky Trainer Aveza's challenge.  I took on her Skiploom and Swoobat and that was that.

Then I went back into Cyllage City, visited the Pokecenter and now I am waiting at the beginning of Route 10.  Join me next time on my adventure north.  What new adventure awaits?
Don't forget to +1, follow and spread the word.

  2. Yeah, I don't usually proofread my stuff. As soon as it is done I submit. Did that all the way through college and everyone loved my stuff enough that they bypassed all my grammatical errors (dang grammar) and such.
    Thanks for the comment.
